Lee Y. Parsons, PA-C
Lee has been with Urology Associates since November 2007 and works exclusively with Dr. Stanley Galansky. She has lived most of her life in the Denver area, graduating from Overland High School. Lee graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where she also received her commission as a second lieutenant in the United States Army.
She served in the engineer branch with assignments in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, Fort Lewis, Washington, and Fort Carson, Colorado. After leaving the military, Lee furthered her education and graduated from the Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2006. Prior to joining Urology Associates, Lee worked in ambulatory pediatrics concurrently with emergency medicine in Houston, Texas.
For over a decade, Lee has valued the trust patients place in her and Dr. Galansky’s hands. She takes time to stay up to date on the best practices in urology, helping to provide the highest level of patient care. Seeing a familiar face puts patients at ease, and she is honored to have taken care of many patients of all ages over the years.
The highlight of her day is knowing a patient’s health has improved after the care her team has helped provide. In her free time Lee enjoys being with her husband and family, traveling all over the world, and enjoying the Colorado outdoors.
Anna Willis, PA-C
Anna joined Urology Associates in 2014 and works exclusively with Dr. Edward Eigner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and after working as a nutrition counselor for several years she decided to return to school to pursue a career as a physician assistant. Anna graduated from the Child Health Care/Physician Assistant program at University of Colorado in 2012. She is board certified and is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Urological Association.
Anna began working in urology soon after graduation and thoroughly enjoys this field of medicine. She strives to be an advocate for our patients and their healthcare. Anna believes in the importance of providing education and is diligent in answering the questions of our patients.
Although Anna is originally from Montana, she feels that Colorado is now home. She loves the mountains and spending time in the beautiful outdoors with her family, friends and two black labs. She and her husband welcomed their daughter from China in 2013 and are thankful everyday for the increased joy she has brought into their lives.
Caitlin Ellis, PA-C
Caitlin joined Urology Associates in the winter of 2015 working alongside Dr. Cowan. She is a Colorado native, born and raised in southwest Denver. She graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in health and exercise sciences, with an emphasis on sports medicine, at Colorado State University. She went on to earn a master’s degree in physician assistant studies in 2013 from Grand Valley State University and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Caitlin started her career right here in Colorado working in family medicine, which allowed her to build her clinical knowledge. She strives to have a strong, trusting relationship with her patients, and advocates for them in their healthcare needs. She is excited to now be working in a specialty that provides new challenges and great patient interaction.
Caitlin is glad to call Colorado her home and loves spending time and traveling with her husband and two sons.
Jakob Graff, PA-C
Jakob joined Urology Associates in August of 2016 and works alongside Dr. Bell. He attended undergraduate and graduate school in New York, then graduated summa cum laude from Rochester Institute of Technology’s Physician Assistant Program. He is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Jakob is excited to be working in urology and strives to provide excellent care and personal commitment to all patients. He looks forward to a rewarding career with a group of dedicated and talented peers.
Jakob is new to Colorado and has been enjoying the everlasting sunshine. In his free time, he can be found outdoors hiking, snowboarding or playing disc golf.
Holly Harges, PA-C
Holly joined Urology Associates in August 2018. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Colorado Denver and her master’s degree as a physician assistant from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
Holly chose to practice in the field of urology because it offers challenge to conquer and opportunities to build meaningful and lasting relationships with her patients while helping them reach results that improve their quality of life. She enjoys caring for patients with unique problems – especially in the areas of female and pediatric urology and treating kidney stones and recurrent urinary tract infections.
She is personally committed as a health advocate to each and every one of her patients. She takes the necessary time with her patients to ensure they are well informed and comfortable with the care they receive.
Holly’s patients often note they value the time she takes to thoroughly explain things and provide follow-up care, making them feel she cares about their concerns.
Holly was born in California but spent most of her life living in Colorado. She enjoys the outdoors and the activities this state has to offer including hiking, camping, fishing and snowboarding.
Elizabeth Kelly-McKnight, PA
Elizabeth (Liz) Kelly-McKnight is a board certified physician assistant who joined Urology Associates in January 2019 when the Denver Urology Clinic team joined Urology Associates. She completed her undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in biochemistry and a certificate in neuroscience at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She worked at Bonfils Blood Center/Laboratories at Bonfils as a phlebotomist and in their organ transplant lab. She then worked at The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in the HIV Research Lab.
Liz attended the University of Florida School of Medicine in the Physician Assistant Program, receiving her master’s degree in physician assistant studies in 2013. She has been working in urology since graduation and loves the field because of the opportunity to make a real impact in patients’ quality of life.
Liz has lived in Colorado since 1991 and has lived in Denver with her husband Tim since 2005. She enjoys running, cycling, and spending time with her husband and son. She loves the many wonderful opportunities Colorado has to offer.
Lauren Weinberg, MHS, PA-C
Lauren joined Urology Associates in October 2017. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Colorado and her master’s degree as a physician assistant from Duke University. While at Duke, Lauren joined the Air Force under a scholarship program and upon graduation was stationed at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas, working in primary care.
Upon completion of her active duty commitment she moved back to Colorado with her husband and their four rambunctious dogs. Lauren, who was born in California, had previously lived in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, where she went to high school.
In 2018 Lauren’s family grew with the addition of her very curious and active daughter, who continues to keep her and her husband on their toes, bringing joy to every moment. In their free time as a family, they continue to enjoy the many wonderful outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.
She says that Urology Associates continues to be a fantastic group to work with, full of talented, passionate and supportive physicians, peers and colleagues.
Dominique Shelle, MHS, PA-C
Dominique joined Urology Associates in December 2018 and works at the Denver, Englewood and Lone Tree locations. She is excited to be joining the Urology Associates’ group of compassionate providers who strive for a positive culture and atmosphere.
She completed her undergraduate education at Central Michigan University, earning a Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences. Dominique received her Master of Health Sciences and her Physician Assistant degree at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina.
Dominique is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Urological Association.
She is interested in all areas of urology but specializes in men’s urologic health and male reproductive medicine. Dominque believes that educating patients on their urologic conditions and having clear communication are fundamental to the success of the patient-provider relationship and to patient recovery.
She was born and raised in southeastern Michigan, but enjoys all that Colorado has to offer. In her spare time she enjoys reading, gardening, exercising and all things outdoors.
Sherry Denton, NP-C
Sherry has been a member of the Urology Associates team since January 2019. Before joining UA, Sherry spent four years in a large urology practice in Georgia focusing on prostate cancer patients. She is excited to continue her work in urology in our Comprehensive Prostate Cancer Clinic. She believes that patients should take an active role in their treatment plans. Sherry is excited to continue her work in urology, with a focus on advanced prostate cancer.
Sherry received her master’s degree in palliative care and a post master’s certification as a nurse practitioner in gerontology from George Washington University. One aspect of urology that has always fascinated Sherry are the constant medical advancements in the field.
Sherry grew up in a small town in Georgia called Tallapoosa, (a Cherokee Indian name meaning little river). Sherry’s great-grandmother was a Cherokee. Sherry left Tallapoosa and has lived most of her adult life in the Atlanta metro area.
Sherry moved to Denver in January 2019 with her 23-year-old daughter. Both are very excited to experience all of the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.
Robin Veasman, NP-C
Robin joined Urology Associates in December 2018, working alongside Dr. Wilson. She is a Colorado native, who has spent her entire nursing career working with oncology patients. Robin loves helping patients and their families during their most vulnerable times.
Patients value Robin’s personable approach to care, and she is known to be honest and affable. Robin is a champion for her patients, advocating on their behalf. Robin’s clinical areas of interest include bladder cancer, renal (kidney) cancer, testicular cancer and prostate cancer.
When not working, Robin enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on the Denver Broncos!
